'Happy Father's Day'

Father's Day is a day honoring fathers, celebrated on various days in many places around the world. In Malaysia it is celebrated on the Third Sunday of June.

You've been everything to me: a father,

Teacher, playmate, model, conscience, friend.

Sometimes I'm not certain why you bother,

If your feelings on my words depend.

I know I haven't been the child I should:

Far from it, and I really can't say why.

I know exactly what I'd label good,

But in the real world something goes awry.

Underneath my actions there is love,

Gratitude, respect, and admiration.

Sometimes I don't know what I'm thinking of,

But I thank God you're in for the duration.

I'm sorry, sorry for the things I do,

But please believe I cherish Mom and you.

Within those words lie lots of things

We never get to say.

It means I love you first of all,

Then thanks for all you do.

It means you mean a lot to me,

And that I honor you.

But most of all, I guess it means

That I am thinking of

Your happiness on this, your day,

With pleasure and with love.

Boulevard..

This is the song, I love most. It really makes me cry because of the love that I lost from someone that I use to love. What a great memories left behind, if I can only turned back the hands of time I might be there again...great music to have...remember good old days.

A great hit, blues, rock from way back in 80's. There was a beautiful guitar solo played at the end of the song.The real singer of this song BOULEVARD is DAN BYRD (released in 1984) but a later version done in 1986 or 1987. This is the last song from side A of the album Stay by Dan Byrd. I've been keeping his song since 1984 with other collection of oldies songs.
